3 Ways To Reset Samsung Galaxy E5 Hard, Factory and Remotely Reset

Hard reset Samsung E5 via Recovery

  1. Turn off your Samsung Galaxy E5 and wait a few seconds.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Home key, then press and hold the Power key.
  3. When the Android logo displays, release all keys.
  4. Installing system update will show for about 30 – 60 seconds, then No command before showing the Android system recovery menu options.
  5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe data / factory reset.
  6. Press Power button to select.
  7. Press the Volume down key to highlight YES and press the Power key to select.
  8. When the Factory Reset is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
  9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

  1. Tap ‘Appsʼ on the Home screen.
  2. In the Apps screen tap ˊSettingsˋ.
  3. In the Settings screen, tap “Back Up and Reset”.
  4. In the Backup and Reset screen, tap ˊFactory Data Resetˋ.
  5. In the Factory Data Reset screen, tap ˊReset Deviceˋ.
  6. Tap ˊDelete Allˋ.
  7. After your device resets, you see the Welcome screen and you can set up your device.
